The year is 1953. Somewhere, Frederic Wertham is writing the book that will end the Golden Age of comics. Somewhere else, J. Edgar Hoover is writing a memo that will scrub the "un-American" from the ranks of the FBI.
One of these things will be the end of Eel O'Brian, otherwise known as Plastic Man—unless he reevaluates his priorities real quick. Lucky for him, if he's anything, he's flexible.
